I’m Sanni Mohammadi, a Finnish essayist with a curiosity for the complicated, the overlooked and the questions that rarely have simple answers.

I write about culture, society, history, language and the assumptions we often accept without stopping to examine them.

I specialize in writing about topics that don’t have comfortable answers.

My essays are not written to tell you what to think. They are an invitation to look again, question what seems obvious, and sometimes sit with the discomfort of not having an absolute answer.
